WHEN POLITICIANS COME KNOCKING

WHEN THEY COME KNOCKING SOON FOR VOTES
DEMAND THEIR CANNABIS GREEN PLAN

The continued stigma of cannabis prevents politicians from envisioning the tremendous paradigm shift this amazing healing plant has to offer. Hundreds of health products can be made from cannabis stems such as teas, tinctures, skin and hair creams that would benefit a myriad of skin conditions. As well, hundreds of products for art, ornaments, to construction, with paper products and a bio-fibre cement (cannabament).

So, when you soon have a politician knocking on your door, remember, they are still fearful and misinformed, and require education and the truth about cannabis medicine for the individual and the planet. Cannabis holds great possibility in rain harvesting and top soil rejuvenation, such as evident with Chernobyl now being cleaned up with it, due to its ability to mulch deeply and therefore restore and clean the soil.  So, ask them, ask where their cannabis plan is for economic recovery, environmental recovery and medicine. Given what we now know about this plant, a community based plan for it, is clearly long overdue.

The conservative oily agenda continues to blur the issues, and it appears that most politicians lose touch with street reality as soon as they enter Parliament. However huge the evidence in front, still they dig their heels in on ending prohibition. Ask them, WHY because there is no good reason.

The call is with us to regulate cannabis so that we can ensure people who need it most as medicine have access to it. Only in a criminalized system will people continue to suffer side effects from growers growing in a stressful climate and using pesticides. Only in a criminalized market, will all consumers continue to have lack of access and uncertainty of product grade. A criminalized system prohibits us from moving forward, and benefits the few at the top--the ones who never go to prison, yet still they spawn criminal activity, including violence. Why do allow the politicians to perpetuate the status quo, when our economy needs a regulated cannabis?

A regulated system will reward those who grow organically and those who have developed good relations with clients. The government is abysmal at providing medical cannabis--this continues to be true, even after years of opportunity on their part.

Since the Federal Government obviously cannot organize the medical cannabis program, it's time to discuss it being handed over provincially, or municipally, like Amsterdam. Begin the discussion with whomever comes to your door on what cannabis community based initiatives could be implemented to end poverty, and to help heal our environment. Remember, though, that they are in need of education, despite the overwhelming scientific based evidence out there--so when they give you their standard empty response:  'We need to see more evidence'...tell them to open their eyes and ears and do some simple researching.

IMAGINE IF THE GOVERNMENT UNDERTOOK THE FOLLOWING VERY SIMPLIFIED DIRECTIVES (A BOTTOM'S UP HARM REDUCTION FRAMEWORK) TO PROVIDING MEDICINE, ENDING POVERTY, AND CREATING NEW UNPRECEDENTED GREEN MARKETS, ESPECIALLY TOURISM:

The organic grower is taxed $90 per pound, $40 goes to health care, $40 goes to social assistance, and the remaining $10 to administration. (THIS SIMPLY WOULD CHANGE EVERYTHING.)

The medical consumer gets the best price everywhere and can sell to others.

Shelter systems and other agencies who serve medical consumers (HIV, MS, Cancer, Arthritis, Depression, MH, addictions, and serve the economically marginalized, including neighborhoods) are eligible (facilitated if desired) for licensing of compassion centres to sell cannabis and cannabis based products.

THE ABOVE WOULD GO ALONG WAY TO GET THE BEGGING OFF THE STREETS. JUST BECAUSE WE ARE USED TO SEEING IT, DOESN'T MEAN WE SHOULDN'T END IT AND CREATE A CACHE OF KINDNESS FOR A NEW STANDARD AND STRENGTH TO OUR SOCIAL FABRIC, WHICH CAN BE ACHIEVED WITH CANNABIS AS A METAPHOR FOR SOCIAL AND ECO HEALTH. THE REMAINING TWO DIRECTIVES WOULD BRING UNPRECEDENTED TOURISM AND CREATE JOBS:

Compassion Cafes that sell cannabis based products ensure their employees are given a liveable wage, and flexibility is built-in for those on disability.

Grants be made available for cannabis based development of products that  benefit the environment such as cannabcrete products, other plastics and wetland and rain harvesting developments.

It is obvious to those with open eyes that cannabis already greatly supplements our economy, both urban and rural, but of course, denial allows for the issues to remain skewed and troubled, even though the market is always estimated in the billions...

POLITICIANS ARE AFRAID OF U.S. RELATIONS AND THE BEST WAY FOR US TO SOLVE ANY BORDER ISSUE IS TO HIRE MORE BORDER SECURITY THAT WILL GUARANTEE A GOOD TRADE FLO WITH GUNS STAYING OUT AND CANNABIS STAYING IN.  ADD A TAX TO CAFES AND COMPASSION CENTRES TO PAY FOR MORE BORDER SECURITY.

THERE IS NO GOOD REASON NOT TO MOVE FORWARD ON REGULATION OF CANNABIS.

ASK THE POLITICIANS WHO COME KNOCKING ON YOUR DOOR FOR THEIR CANNABIS PLAN, SO THAT WE CAN HAVE THE BEST HEALTH CARE IN THE WORLD, AND NOT KEEP SLIDING DOWNWARD WITH IT. THE CURRENT CAPITALIST CRIMINALIST SYSTEM MUST GO TO GUARANTEE MEDICAL ACCESS. DEMAND ALL POLITICIANS TO STOP BEING COWARDS ON CANNABIS FOR THE SAKE OF ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL RECOVERY.

End prohibition--not one individual has ever died of cannabis, yet hundreds of thousands of Americans die every year from adverse drug reactions of 'legal drugs'.
It's time for Canadians to demand a cannabis plan; otherwise we will slip further into the oily abyss of the US style of prohibition. Already, weekly, many Americans come to Canada for prohibition relief--ask anyone who owns a head shop, visit the myriad of internet groups globally who see cannabis as the potential to aid their own countries. End the harm caused by its criminal status.

Many Canadians already know that the real crime of cannabis is criminalization, but let's face it, the oil agenda has employed many slippery antics to scare and perpetuate myths and lies on a plant that is proven medically for many symptoms, and that will be critical in helping save our planet and ending poverty. If they tell you they are green and don't have cannabis as part of their plan, tell them to get their head out of the tar sands. It's time to turn this ship around if we are to remain a distinct country, end poverty and cure our environment.

DEMAND A COMMUNITY BASED CANNABIS PLAN FOR CANADA!

The 4th River - A Multi-Reality Medium

Today is January 4th 007—the right time in space to open the gates of ‘The 4th River’ and let it finally take its course. It is my destiny after all. I have been alchemizing this story for quite some time, churning it in my psyche, and though I’ve chastised myself on procrastination, I can see now that I wasn’t procrastinating, but alchemizing. Brewing and stewing my whole life long, sometimes a wee vaporous puff escapes from the corner of my eye, and then I know it’s time to start writing again. Of course, I could be delusional, but it has been my good fortune to have been born with a supernatural fear of the medical model and to never have been diagnosed. The Dark Mother says it was a gift from her. I also had a talent for lying and being a trickster for the first part of my life, but have devoted the second part to being a truth seeker. Life is after all, quite short, and it is the truth that sets us free and sometimes trickery is necessary to bring the powers that be to their knees.

Rebirthing In St. Eustache

It occurred to me while in a Tim Horton’s washroom en route to bring my grand baby into the world, my red headed rebel baby whom I dreamt about last night, smiling and winking at me, inferring, ‘roll out the revolution Chema, I have come back to you.’ I want to be called Chema, after Che, instead of grandma. Don’t get me wrong—it’s not as though I don’t like ‘grandma’, as grandmothers are the ones who are going to turn this world around. I know it. I just feel it’s time to honour Che in a new way. I am white, but his dream of uniting all Indigenous People in the world is deeply exciting to me. We of Irish and French blood also want to see the end of colonialism, remembering its harm. We must do it with intelligence, without violence, is a voice I hear and feel is near. Nelson Mandela can be our role model and other unsung grandmothers of every Mother Tongue sung.

Cannabis-induced erotic emailing and sexual healing

The thing about being a sex chaser and grief-bearer is that one is susceptible to rejection. But the good news of this modern world is that there is always a fresh crop of rejecters around the on-line corner to keep you on your sexy, metaphysical toes, and erotic emailing, as I’ve discovered can cure sexual woes.

Can we heal across space and time?

The thing about love is that you have to be solid with your self first and this can be tricky for us artists and Orphan Spirits at times. We have to own up to our whiney and self indulgent nonsense and move on. Quash out negative thoughts—this does not mean you disconnect from reality. Love gives intrinsic tools to deal with harsh realities in a greater way for diminishing the harm done. We must never be divided by kin, colour of skin, ever again. The new paradigm will honour uniqueness—see your self radiating with divinity—imagine a golden globe in your belly. Let it slow your thoughts down to experience presence and know you are reborn with this eternity. Go for a long walk.

Sweet Subversive ness Surrendered at Wellesley and Sherbourne

I don’t know if it comes more from the criminal element in my gene pool, or the religious one—they both diffuse a slick that makes for murky waters in deciphering. Maybe in the pool there was a jet of Irish/French mix that subsumed me in swooshes of subversive ness. I am quite sure this subversive manifestation showed inklings at an early stage. I have tried to come to terms with both the religious and criminal in my nature, and tend to be more empathetic towards the criminal, but to a certain point. I do trust my inner criminal and I tap in only for good reason, which gives one a certain high, like that of religion. Where would we be without dualities?

Restorative Justice for Cannabis and Marc Emery

If we were to develop a community based cannabis plan by the people for the people and the environment, what could it look like? First of all, we must consider restorative justice and put our immediate energy into seeing that the extradition hearing of Marc Emery, Michelle Rainey and Greg Williams (BC3), approaching in the coming weeks, be overturned. Canadians, it’s time to come together and see to it this injustice does not creep on. I never thought this extradition possible, but the Conservatives continue to jeopardize our distinguishing identity behind closed doors in close proximity to the Bush Administration. Our values are at stake here, so it’s time to show support and push for decriminalization of cannabis.

Cannabis, Colonialism and Supporting Native Land Claims

Just moments ago I discovered the true meaning of pure contentment having my grand baby fall asleep in my arms. Her hair consistently makes me chuckle and I wonder if her wild mane is indicative of a wild mane personality to come. I hope so.
